Students become acquainted with media promotional decisions as
made by clients advertising agencies and advertising departments.
Advertising is discussed as a social force, a competitive tool and a
career path. Attention is given to how the marketer coordinates
advertising with other marketing-mix variables. |

BA 355 - Management of the Sales Force |
|
Course familiarizes students with management responsibilities
unique to personal sales. Planning, recruiting, deployment, motivation
and evaluation are key areas covered. Text, case studies and
presentations will be reviewed. Prerequisites: BA 330, BA 335. |

BA 431 - Market Research & Consumer Behavior |
|
Models of consumer behavior and techniques, uses of marketing
research in making business decisions. Course covers preliminary
research design; instrument development; data sources; sampling,
processing and interpretation; and presentation of data.
Prerequisites: BA 330, MTH201. |
